Aura Systems announced that it delivered five AuraGen mobile power systems to NOV ASEP ELmar in Holland, which will be skid mounted and used to provide AC power in oil field applications.

In a release, the company said that NOV ASEP Elmar is a product group of National Oilwell Varco, a company involved in the design, manufacture and sale of comprehensive systems and components used in oil and gas applications since 1841.
pandora charms The company said that currently there are AuraGen/VIPER units operating in Egypt, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Holland, UK, Japan, Korea and China.
Melvin Gagerman, Aura's CEO, said, "We are very pleased to see the AuraGen/VIPER being used in numerous countries around the globe. While the quantities are small and are representative of early introductions, we expect significant business from Europe, Asia and the Middle East during the next twelve months. Our AuraGen/VIPER system is being used around the globe in both military and commercial applications. A major driver for commercial application in Europe and Asia is motivated by the price of fuel that is equivalent to over $5.00 per gallon. The AuraGen superior efficiency provides end users with a significant operating savings.
